Bridget "Biddy" Parker - 2007

January 2008 -
Bridget Parker, a freshman music education major with a minor
in percussion performance at DePauw University in Greencastle. She
is involved in DePauw Percussion Ensemble and University Band Active member or MENC She recently was the percussionist in DePauw's production of the Stephen Schwartz musical, Children of Eden. Biddy appeared on stage in MTC shows plus played in several MTC pit orchestras winning the 2007 Best Pit Musician Equus Award |
Matthew Domasica - 2003

January 2008 - Matt graduated from Ball State University in Spring 2007, and in January was hired as Highland's Monbeck Auditorium Director (a position which LAB held from 1979-1992). He will start on January 21st. |
Nicole "Niki" Pellegrino - 2001
|
|
December 2007 - Niki is a 2005 graduate
of Northwestern University in theater and she is active on the local
Chicago theater scene. Currently she is appearing in The Snow
Queen at the Biograph Theatre. Currently she is a member of Be The Groove, a rhythmic performance ensemble, and was a cast member of Skin of Our Teeth, a Jeff Award and Jeff Recommended show by the Back Stage Theatre Company . Niki was a pink dinosaur and a contortionist. Also she appeared in Side Show another Jeff Award and Jeff Recommended show by the Bohemian Theatre Ensemble. Niki produced and directed, Truest Tale of Robin Hood at the Actors Gymnasium in Evanston, Illinois She also teaches theater through the Looking Glass Theater Company and the After School Matters program. She has an extra role on the upcoming Batman motion picture. |
Joey Manderino - 2002

December 2007 - Joey Manderino
along with MHS alum David Young have created an episodic web comedy
series at
JoeyandDavid.com,
which has spawned a development deal for a television sitcom. The site
features comedy shorts and sketches as well as a serial comedy show
which follows the life and adventures of Joey and David. The real life Joey and David hail from Munster, Indiana. David graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Television, Radio and Film. He has worked for the Comedy Central show "Stella" and "The Daily Show with Jon Stewart." Joey is a senior at NYU's Tisch School of Arts, specifically the Stella Adler studio. They recently performed at the 2007 U.S. HBO Comedy Arts Festival in Aspen and were named as part of Variety's "10 Comics to Watch in 2007." |
Rachel Mihich - 2004

November 2007 - I'm at Ball
State pursuing a General Studies degree in Music and technical
theatre. I assistant stage managed the Ball state Opera theatre's
production of Madam Butterfly and 53rd Street in
2006/2007. This year I am the official Stage Manager of the BSO, we
are currently in production for Handel's Guilio Cesare. I
will be stage managing a small show called the Memory of Water
this coming March. As for my horn playing, I am giving a recital
this coming March. I am also a member of the Wind Ensemble for the
fourth year running, along with my first year in the Symphony
Orchestra. In the future I hope to be going to grad school for a
degree in Stage Management, which will lead me to an opera stage

Michael James Konopasek - 2007

October 2007 - Michael James Konopasek, a freshman at
Ball State
University in Muncie, Indiana, is a
telecommunication major, focusing on
broadcast journalism with a double minor in journalism and legal
studies of business. He is currently taking
Foundations of Telecommunications 101 with
Dr. Michael Spillman. Michael was born and raised in the Northwest Indiana suburbs of Chicago (also known as “The Region”). He has a sister, Julia, who is 21, and a seven-pound bishon named A.J. Michael attended Munster High School in Munster, Indiana, from 2003 to 2007. While attending Munster High School, Michael was involved in many communication-centered activities, both in and out of school, from speech and debate to theatre. In speech and debate, Michael competed in countless competitions throughout the state of Indiana. He was honored to represent Munster High School at the 2004 National Speech and Debate Competition in Salt Lake City, Utah. This came after becoming a national qualifier for the National Forensic League in Public Forum Debate. |

Michael has performed in over 20 plays and
musicals in high school, community, and regional theatre venues.
Michael was also an active member of the Mixed Ensemble Choir at
Munster High School for 3 years, the Indiana All-State Choir for 2
years, and president of the American Sign Language Club from 2006 -
2007. Outside of school, he has gained practical experience through internships with radio production and on-air talent at WUSN Chicago, Illinois and WJOB Hammond, Indiana. Currently, Michael is a news anchor with Ball State University’s NewsWatch and a DJ at WWHI Muncie, Indiana. In his free time, Michael enjoys traveling, biking, scuba diving, modern world history, and Greek food.

Mary Carp - 2007

December 2007 -Mary is at Northwestern
University in Evanston, IL. She will graduate here in 2011 ( I
should hope), and graduated MHS in 2007 as Production Manager in
theater. Mary is serving on the executive board of the Rainbow
Alliance, and her major is Classics. As a freshman, she has yet to get heavily involved in campus, and so "I have no honors to brag about...but that's okay." |
