A Streaming Event!
An Evening of One-Acts Featuring the Wilbur Wright Theatre Company
and the Munster Theatre Company
The Munster Theatre Company will be producing They Eat Sunshine, Not Zebras and Scarlet Expectations of a Drowned Maiden and Two Greek Queens.
They Ead Sunshine, Not Zebras follows several blades of grass, growing contentedly in someone's lawn. One day a dandelion sprouts. How will they deal with this "invader"?
If you love classic literature, or even if you don't, Scarelet Expectations of a Drowned Maiden and Two Greek Queens is perfect for you! Featuring five strong females from literary history (Penelope from The Iliad, Medea from Medea, Ophelia from Hamlet, Hester Prynne from The Scarlet Letter, and Miss Havisham from Great Expectations) are all guests on a modern-day talk show. They bring their stories together as they work through their own problems and find support for each other. All goes well until Reverend Dimmesdale shows up! This is a hilarious recap of five great literary works!
The Wilbur Wright Theatre Company titles will be producing Hero Zero and Meet the Roommates.
In Hero Zero, Big Bro is a war hero, a larger-than-life presence whose little brother wants to be just like him when he grows up. But when the unthinkable happens and Big Bro is lost in the war, how can young Nil fill such big shoes? There are no easy answers, but Big Bro may just have left some clues behind to help in this play about grief and resilience.
In Meet the Roommates, two friends discover an incredible online simulator that shows them exactly what their future college roommate experiences will look like. Yet after a few minutes with a raging narcoleptic, a world-class procrastinator, and a children's party clown, it may be time to seriously consider living alone.
Tickets for this event will be available for purchase at munaud.booktix.com beginning October 19. Each ticket will be assigned a unique streaming link for whichever performance is selected in the purchasing process.
A stream pass for an individual will be $8, and a stream pass for two or more people watching together will be $15.
